“O Lord, you have searched me and known me!” – Psa. 139:1
You have searched and known me.
The King of Kings,
Lord of Lords,
the Great I Am,
The Alpha and The Omega,
The Lamb…
knows me.
He knows my name.
It would be enough that God would know my name but He doesn’t stop there…not only does He know my name but He knows my thoughts….before a word is on my tongue He knows it full well.
Not only does God know my name, and my thoughts, but He cares about them. He listens to them. He responds to them. He notes them…
Not only does God know my name, and my thoughts, but He knows my activity. He knows when I sit and when I rise. He knows when I get in my car. He’s watching me sit at the table or get a cup of coffee.
Not only does God know my name, and my thoughts, and my mundane activity, He knows my ways… God knows my habits, my routines, my path, my style, my way of life…
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, God also knows my position. There is no place I can go to escape His presence, even just for fun to play a little hide and seek. There is no height or depth, no direction east or west, darkness can’t even cloak me.
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, my position at any given moment in time, God knows my inner being. He knit me together in my mother’s womb. He wove me together and fashioned all my parts. He placed them exactly as He intended.
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, my position at any given moment in time, my inner being, God also knows my days. He knows how many days have been allocated to me since conception.
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, my position at any given moment in time, my inner being, the number of my days, God also knows the details of those days and God formed those days especially for me. The trials and the joys of those days were custom designed for me.
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, my position at any given moment in time, my inner being, the number of my days, the details of those days, God also knows the plan and purpose of my life. He has set my course and guides my every step by his power.
Not only does God know my name, my thoughts, my mundane activity, my ways, my position at any given moment in time, my inner being, the number of my days, the details of those days, the plans and purposes of my life, God also knows my affections. He searches my heart. He knows what I love and what I hate.
The King of Kings,
Lord of Lords,
the Great I Am,
The Alpha and The Omega,
The Lamb…
knows me.
He knows me.
What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Psa. 8:4
