Merciful Father,
This has been an expensive year for me. Had many unforeseen turns that were very costly and they still seem to keep coming. Sometimes it is disheartening going from one financial hurdle to the next with not much of a pause in between. Father, You know that these have come not as a result of frivolous spending but rather like an unexpected visitor at my front door. I open the door and find bill standing there with all his friends by the same name. They won’t leave until I send money.
Thank You Lord for giving me a sense of humor – it helps so much and I do genuinely praise You for that. Jesus, You are my treasure and these kind of moments are just simply trust builders. I won’t lose faith; my heart is with You, so hope and joy just keep bubbling out. Oh, I could work up a good fit if I wanted, but what good would that do? Nah, I would rather bring my worries to You and keep on moving. The world is Yours and I’m Your daughter – Heiress.
Thank You for putting a song in my heart and a skip in my step. You dress the lilies of the field and You will dress this petal also. I praise You! Marvelous are the ways You teach me.
