Throughout history God has always had a spokesman to sound out His message.  He had the Old Testament prophets, John the Baptist ending the OT prophet era and heralding in Jesus Himself the greatest spokesman of all.  Then came the apostles and Paul.  Then down through the ages evangelists, pastors, preachers, teachers and laymen have carried on His message.  That message of grace and salvation have never been silenced and they will not be even when hell breaks loose on earth during the tribulation period.   During that dark time that is to come He will use the 144,000 Jewish evangelists, an angel flying in midair, the testimonies of other believers and these two powerful witnesses that we will learn about tonight. The time period of these two witnesses will likely stretch from the midpoint to just before the sounding of the seventh trumpet.
