“Fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works…”
Psalm 139:14

Heavenly Father,
My heart quietly gives thanks to You. I would shout but a whisper of a whimper is all that will come out. All of the sound is bottled up in my throat like a cork. That is what extreme awe does to me. Just leaves me speechless. I look down into a little cradle at the most marvelous tiny miracle my eyes have beheld in a long time. This child, an unlikely blessing but every bit a blessing indeed, looks back at me and we lock hearts, souls and our lives together for always. Thank You for her. O’ Lord my prayer for her is that above all things she will love You with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength. I pray that she will grow and prosper in body and in spirit. Help me be one who always brings her to Jesus. Whether we are playing, learning, working or just cuddling, it is the desire of my heart that this little one will know and trust the Lord Jesus who died and lives again for her. Help me to teach her that with my words and my life. Set her apart for Your good pleasure and I pray You do mighty things with this precious little life. Dear Jesus, protect her from harm and surround her with those who are committed to loving and caring for her. As far as the realm of my authority goes, I present this little one to You and know that she is safe in Your keeping. Praise You Father for such a miraculous gift! Sleep little baby, your Father holds you tenderly and
will not let you go. Sleep little one. Amen

Love,
